Tax adviser
Tax advice should be clear and personal. That principle shapes my work with individuals and business owners on Dutch tax, from straightforward returns to more complex questions.
My advice covers changes in income, housing and assets, including questions about moving to the Netherlands or owning property abroad. For business owners, I also help with bookkeeping and the tax choices involved in starting a business or choosing its legal structure.
I run a deliberately small practice, giving clients direct contact and taking time to understand their circumstances. I combine careful preparation with plain-language explanations. That same approach runs through Money Untold: practical explanations of money, tax and everyday financial decisions.
I have worked independently since 2017. My earlier involvement in tax legislation as a member of the Dutch House of Representatives also informs the way I advise clients today.
I also develop Boekhouden, my own online bookkeeping software. It brings my tax work and software development together, helping business owners keep their records organised and trace figures in their reports back to the transactions behind them.
